Born in Como, Italian Conductor Claudio Novati is currently serving as a Kapellmeister at the Bruckner Orchester / Landestheater Linz in Austria. In 2019, he won the second Prize in the conducting competition of the MDR Symphony Orchestra and in 2023 he was awarded the third Prize at the prestigious German Conducting Award in Cologne, same as he won the second Prize at the “Forcolin” conducting competition in Padova. In 2021 he was selected among the “Maestros of tomorrow” by the German Music Council, gaining a prominent place in the new generation of conductors.
